Your Sense of Truth
Rodd Stockwell, MD
We all have a Sense of Truth. We associate our eyes with our sense of sight, our ears with our sense of hearing, and our nose with our sense of smell. But each of us tunes in to our Sense of Truth slightly differently--some feel it in their gut, others in their heart.
When faced with conflicting advice, our Sense of Truth is a powerful ally. Ask yourself, "Is that true?" or "Does that feel true?" You may be surprised that you have an answer.
For some, it takes a little practice to get into the habit of using the Sense of Truth. Those that cultivate this sense find that bad advice rolls right off their backs and the world is a lot less confusing.
